Seminar on “Essential Skills to Access Formal Financial Services”

CUTS Centre for Human Development and Centre for Financial Inclusion at Accion has jointly organised an outreach Seminar on “Essential Skills to Access Formal Financial Services” on 20 October 2016 at village Ochri, Chittaurgarh as a part of the Financial Inclusion Week. The Center for Financial Inclusion at Accion (CFI) is an action-oriented think tank that engages and challenges the industry to better serve, protect and empower clients and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve a comprehensive vision for financial inclusion.

During the event Mr Alok Jain, Regional Manager, Baroda Rajasthan KendriaGramin Bank (BRKGB) and Mr SD Vaishnav, Branch Manager Baroda Rajasthan KendriaGramin Bank (BRKGB) Branch Pratapnagarspoke on social security schemes such as life insurance, pension and shared about the banks credit linkage for promoting income generating activities, the objective of thisseminar was to inform rural women about modes of accessing formal financial services and related financial inclusion schemes run by the government, financial service providers, including bankers. GauharMahmood, MadanGiriGoswami, MohanLalMeghwal also spoke on various concerned subjects to financial inclusion and gave welcome and thanks to resource persons for their valuable contribution to make the program successful. Total 52 women participated.
