Celebrate International Girls Day

CUTS Childline team celebrated Girls Child Day at Government Girls Secondary School, MohmadiColony, Shastri Nagar Bhilwara on 24 January, 201. Around 50 persons participated in theProgramme including 45 Girls and 5 Guestsstakeholders.

Chief Guest of the eventwas Mrs. ReshmaBanuPathan, Social Worker said all girls should have knowledge of their Child Rights. Mrs. AnuradhaDadhich, Principal, Govt. Girls Sec. School greeted to all the Guest who attend the programme spoke the government of Rajasthan is taking initiative to promote the girls by providing laptop, motor bike and bicycle for Meritorious girls student.Now a day girls are performing their best in many of various fields like indian army, railways, engineering and doctor, teachers. She had givenmodel examples of KiranBedi, Indira Gandhi, Kalpanachawla. They became worldwide popular for their contribution to the nation.

She said the women are creator of the family but girls children are consideredas the curse from the ancient time.We know big people populations do lots of violence again women and girl child. She also suggested to the Girls child to do for self-protect from sexual harassment, and sexual abuse.

During the session, Vinita Vaishnav, Programme Assistant,Childline advised to use this1098 helpline number at any difficult time, when are you in trouble. Because this is a 24×7 nation Toll free Number is working for those children who are in trouble, or in need, sexual abused, harassed, or involve in child labour work. This is joint action project is running with additional support from Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Labour Department, Police Department, Health Department, Child Welfare Committee, Juvenile Justice Board, Education Organisation , Shelter Homes and Allied Departments. After the event, Vinita Vaishnav had given vote of thanks to all participants.
